I started my career off knowing I liked to build and create. My favorite class I ever took was woodshop in middle school - designing a house that I could physically make and test with my own hands….carving and smoothing the tails of a wooden rocket car. As I got older, my interests diversified. I learned about electronics, signals and how they are transmitted. I learned about how websites are created, and the common pitfalls when designing software for a product from scratch. I learned how to test hardware, design storyboards, and manage vendor relationships. I look forward to the day my skills will improve biodiversity in a changing environment, engage local farmers in food nutrition and urban access, and brainstorm other unforeseen possibilities.
